Joined and participated in GNML Online Class was so helping me to make better understanding about using Core Tools, Concepts and Processes of using Social Media for Communication, Leadership, Civic Engagement, Activism and how to use and get the benefit from Technology itself. I even didn't care and didn't have the desire to study and explore more about Social Media and Technology and now I'm getting more curious and involved with it. I didn't realize that only with Social Media we could help changes our home community life to become more better with posting and sharing information in Blog, Tumblr and many other platforms. we also try to become representative of our country to solve our each problems and issues in our home communities. And my GNML project is focusing in 2 issues : The support of government of my region county  to provide the availability of library in my home town, because we only have 1 library for approximately 500,000 people in a whole county and find a solution how to increase reading interest in Indonesia with using Social Media and any other platforms, Try to catch people attention with invite them to use #Hashtag in Twitter for example. And sharing the problems in Forum Anak Indonesia (Indonesian Children and Teenagers Forum) about Reading Interest and together we deliver our concerns and ideas to Government. I know this is not easy, but I will try to do my best for that!

       Before I joined GNML online program, I considered using Social Media is just for fun and using it only for communicate with my friends, families and relatives. So I faced many of challenges when we were doing our online class, like in Session #4 - Blogging for social change, I use blog for just sharing my life stories and photos. and now, I know that we also be able to use Blog as our platform to share Information that could change our home community to be better!
also in Session #5 - RSS and Google Alerts - Training Information to find you, I saw some of RSS feed in my some of friends blogs, but I never thought to use it in my blog and connect it to get information. and I also got problem how to connect RSS feed and find the websites and blogs that provide it, fortunately some of my fellows in our GNML online class willing to help brake my problem :D and the last in Session #8 - Using Youtube and make "Elevator Pitch" for Broadcast our thought. I don't have any idea what is Elevator Pitch, I never try to make my own video and upload it to Youtube. All of them were new things new experience for me that never thought and dig deeper more information until I joined GNML online class.

    My participation in GNML online program is the most rewarding experience. GNML open my eyes and mind about how to expand the usefulness and purpose of social media and another platform such Youtube, Tumblr, Blog and many more. I becoming know that we, all of the participants in GNML online class have our each problems and issues in our Home Community and ready to change it. I enjoy learning and following every stories from them. Before I participate in GNML online class, I already made a Youtube and Blog Account, but I didn't know how to use if efficiently and don't want to explore more. but now, I be able to use Blog for a place to sharing useful information to others, not only place for just sharing stories and laugh, but more than that.Using Youtube to upload videos and many more. I'm getting involved in technology, explore many new things that I never know before, because learning something new is exciting!, Gain more knowledge in Technology and Social Media and hopefully I be able to teach and share what i've got from GNML Online class to others in my home community.
